I would give them hope that the world they are leaving behind is changing for the better. That we will shed our excessive greed and once again see each other as human beings.

I would undo the "rule" that love is considered authentic when it is on paper. True love doesn't require marriage, and this social train wreck blindly leads some to false hopes. Love is simple yet complex. It doesn't require a piece of paper, just an open heart and honesty.

Tomorrow brings another chance to be a better person. There is a delay between our thoughts and their manifestation in reality. So think about what you want tomorrow and make it happen!

In our physical form, life a point in our existence in which we can learn unconditional love. This common thread (which is found in many religions and spiritual beliefs) connects us all. This dense physical world makes it difficult to completely comprehend, yet we are offered countless opportunities to learn this lesson. LIfe to me is balancing physical obligations with spiritual goals.

A change in our government! Somehow we have strayed so far off path, and our system is really broken. We have politicians fighting for what is right for them, and not the people. Partnerships between corporations and politicians exists as regular business today. Laws are being made for select shareholders instead of every citizen. For any of you who have read Plato's Republic, we are in need of guardians. Is it possible to eliminate corruption from our government? If we want to make change happen it has to start with us standing up and uniting.

I think we all get defensive when we are trying to prevent emotional (and sometimes physical) harm. I personally get defensive and upset when someone doesn't understand what I'm saying. I don't have to always be right, but I just like to know that you at least hard me. Also, the more that somebody is avoident or flakes out on their responsibilities, the more defensive I get. We have such an interesting design.

My innocence!!! I used to play with my puppy and take him to my grandparents. In my world there was no such thing as prejudice or "bad" people. I would always go across the street to my grandparents and they would feed me home made mexican food. The interesting part is that they don't speak english, just spanish. I was bi-lingual by the age of 5 and thought nothing of it. Everything just was.

I learned that although I'm growing and have made much progress, there are still a few things I need to change to gain the momentum I need to succeed. I went to a movie with a friend last night, and some how it turned into a date. I'm not really looking for a relationship right now. I am getting in touch with myself, and a romantic distraction would cause me to scatter my energy too much. I think my challenge is satisfying the need for affection without dating somebody. If an interaction is purely physical it isn't nearly as satisfying as an authentic connection with somebody. I know what I want in a partner, and I feel bad turning people down. But I think there is a healthy level of selfishness. I don't want to settle for somebody who can't intellectually and spiritually connect with me. All-in-all, I saw my growth yesterday. I see that my drive to be a research psychologist comes from my heart. What I want to do will help our world today, and the world for our children. None of us are perfect, but having experienced that eye opening moment, I am motived to try harder. Our world is full of so much hurt and pain, I'm glad to be a part of a community that is spreading light.

I would like to speak to myself in a previous life. I have had visions and dreams that I used to be a Native American medicine man. I would like to ask myself what my life was like and uncover any commonalities of my souls journey. I would like to get it right this time around and maximize my growth. The physical world is so dense, it would be nice to break through the fog and get some answers.
